Spent an afternoon mesmerized by a flock of crows who had a baggie of pumpkin seeds, taking turns trying to open the bag to get at the seeds. Also watching out economy worsening everyday and felt a resonance with the music I chose but animated the crows to add a feeling of optimism that we are truly in this world together. Seeing Music - Video Art
Inspired by tango dancing, fire, and beautiful music, this piece explores my ability to see music and translate it into movement. I used digital collage as well as special effects and layered as many as 10 layers to create the rich imagery in this music video. Video art by Karen Landey.
